Recently we visited a local pumpkin patch with Aubrey's school. We visited Holiday Farms in Ridgeland, SC and it was such a cute little place. I didn't get to enjoy all of it as I had to go to work but my husband was able to spend the day with her. Everything was decorated so cutely plus there were animals, a hay ride, and a cute little store. I know Bree had a super fun time playing on all the amenities and getting to do so with her friends.
When it comes to fall fashion, orange is by far a standard. I am still trying to get used to the climate down here in the south. Normally around this time in Chicago I need to pull out my sweaters, pull out my layers, get out the boot and get warm. It snowed on Halloween this year which is not the norm, but the weather in Chicago is for sure unpredictable. Down here in the coastal south, it is finally starting to get cool but still not cold. At night and in the mornings getting ready for work it is pretty chilly. By the afternoon with the sun out, the heat is growing stronger. I am starting to dress in a convertible way. Wearing a blazer over a tee or a cardigan over a dress has been my recent go-to. I can take the blazer or cardigan off when it starts getting hot.
If you are local to the lowcountry or coastal Georgia or planning on coming to a visit, I would definitely recommend Holiday Farms. Albeit I am new to the area so I do not have alot to compare it to but it was a great family friendly place with a definite country feel. It was small but then the area isn't heavily populated and it was a bit off the beaten path. The amenities are great for kids and they even have group offerings which is what we did with Aubrey's school. It cost us $16 for 2 people to go and enjoy the hayride and each get a pumpkin. There are also a ton of adorable photo friendly spots.
I found this orange blazer at TJ Maxx on clearance. It is by Anne Klein and I thought just the perfect color for those fall festivities when I need a little something on my arms. The fabric is still thin and flowy so I don't get overheated but is great over a dress or paired with some jeans. In this picture I paired with some maternity jeggings. I am very excited to no longer be needing maternity clothes. I am anxious to get back in my regular clothes again. I have found some adorable orange blazers for you, all of which will be great all of fall and even perfect for Thanksgiving! Give me a cute orange blazer and a PSL, please!
