There are certain brands that I have an affinity to. There are many reasons. Maybe it is how it fits. Maybe it is the price point. Maybe it is the kind and quality of the fabric. Maybe it is the design. Maybe it is the colors. Maybe it is the name recognition. Everlane is one of those companies that encompasses all of that for me.
I first started trying out Everlane denim. They had price points that seemed pretty reasonable, prided themselves on using sustainable and ethical fabrics, and had multiple fits and styles available. I am one that has a hard time finding denim that fits well because I have a wider hip and butt area. Many pants do not fit up past my hips and the ones that do often do not fit in the waist. So I figured I would give Everlane a try....
I am so glad I did. Now whenever I am on the hunt for some new denim, Everlane has been the first place I look. However, my love did not just stop at their denim. They have dresses, tshirts, shoes, and so much more that is all based on the idea of ethical and sustainable fabrics.
Just go to their website and you will see them promoting equality and equal representation. They have models that all have different skin colors, age groups, and sizes. There products are size inclusive. I appreciate their mission and everything they represent.
One of my newest denim purchases was the Cheeky Straight jean. I have them in both long and in ankle length (shown above). This color is the sky blue. I waver between a size 8 and 10 in jeans depending on the brand and style. In Everlane I get the size 30 and they usually fit just right.
They are super comfortable jeans! I love the slight crop length perfect for the warmer months with flats, sandals, or a cute pair of espadrilles. They can even be worn with a pair of heels if you are going out for a night (I just don't wear too many heels).
I also have the same Cheeky Straight denim in the regular length in the faded indigo wash. They both fit the same despite one being more cropped. I love the full length for the fall and summer months paired with some loafers or ankle boots. I tend to gravitate for the darker denim in the warmer months and this color will be perfect.
Both jeans seemed to stretch a tad in the waist and leg but was the perfect amount of stretch to have them fit so comfortably. I love that they aren't too tight but give just the perfect amount of room for some breathability.
Like already stated, I'm not just a fan of their denim. I am loving pretty much everything I find. They are great for breathable fabrics and comfy basics. I recently gave their linen a try as seen below.
This relaxed linen shirt is a great summer basic. Linen is a great, breathable summer fabric. This top is relaxed and super comfortable. You can pair it with a pair of denim, tie the front and wear with a cute skirt or pair of shirts, use it as a cover up, or wear it to work! It is a great versatile piece and comes in 3 different colors.
I have also been eyeing their waffle crewneck tee in rose blossom and the selfie tank. The organic cotton box-cut tee looks like a great everyday basic.
They also have amazing chino pants as seen below.
The chinos are another great fit for those of us a bit curvier. The fit is relaxed and they are so comfortable. This pair of white pants are NOT see through like alot of white pants I've tried on. They are a great, comfortable summer pant. Right now they are ONLY $29!! I am also really loving these long chino shorts. I think they may be my next purchase!
